The Way We Know Things
An installation of new site-specific works and live art by Glasgow School of Art MFA students Cara Bonewitz, Maria Gondek, Sabe Lewellyn and Corinna D’Schoto, curated alongside Athena Gerakis. The works were made in response to the artists’ experiences as newcomers to the city, exploring how knowledge is produced through encounters - with our surroundings, with objects, and with others - and how these encounters can be enacted through artistic practice. The exhibition was developed through a series of conversations around the importance of a mutually beneficial, supportive relationship between artist and curator.
